There are tales of robbery victims that are shot down in cold blood or executed "gangland style." There are stories of deranged parents killing their children or deranged children killing their parents. There are reports of snipers. And now and then the headlines blurt out that an assassin has struck again, killing a prominent official or citizen. All of these stories involve the use of guns, or seem to. As a result, there is growing clamor to outlaw guns, to ban guns, to confiscate guns in the name of public safety and public good.

These demands come from people genuinely concerned about rising crime rates, persons such as Sheriff Peter Pitchess of Los Angeles, who says gun control is an idea whose time has come. They come from people who see the outlawing of guns as a way of outlawing violence. And they come from those who see confiscation of weapons as one way of keeping the people under control.

Now I yield to no one in my concern about crime, and especially crimes of violence. As governor of California for eight years, I struggled daily with that problem. I appointed judges who, to the best of my information, would be tough on criminals. We approved legislation to make it more difficult for persons with records of crime or instability to purchase firearms legally. We worked to bring about swift and certain punishment for persons guilty of crimes of violence.

We fought hard to reinstate the death sentence after our state Supreme Court outlawed it, and after the U.S. Supreme Court followed suit, we won.

Now, however, the California court that sought eagerly to be the first to outlaw the death penalty is dragging its heels as it waits for the U.S. Court to rule. The Chief Justice in California, whom I appointed with such high hopes, in this regard has disappointed many of us who looked to him to help again make our streets, our shops and our homes safe. I find it difficult to understand persons like President Ford's new Attorney General, Edward H. Levi. Attorney General Levi would ban guns in areas with high rates of crime.

Mr. Levi is confused. He thinks somehow that banning guns keeps them out of the hands of criminals. New Yorkers who suffer under the Sullivan Act know better, they know that the Sullivan Act makes law-abiding citizens sitting ducks for criminals who have no qualms about violating it in the process of killing and robbing and burglarizing. Despite this, Mr. Levi apparently thinks that criminals will be willing to give up their guns if he makes carrying them against the law. What naivete!

Mightn't it be better in those areas of high crime to arm the homeowner and the shopkeeper, teach him how to use his weapons and put the word out to the underworld that it is not longer totally safe to rob and murder?

Our nation was built and civilized by men and women who used guns in self-defense and in pursuit of peace. One wonders indeed, if the rising crime rate, isn't due as much as anything to the criminal's instinctive knowledge that the average victim no longer has means of self-protection.

No one knows how many crimes are committed because the criminal knows he has a soft touch. No one knows how many stores have been let alone because the criminals knew it was guarded by a man with a gun or manned by a proprietor who knew how to use a gun.

Criminals are not dissuaded by soft words, soft judges or easy laws. They are dissuaded by fear and they are prevented from repeating their crimes by death or by incarceration.

In my opinion, proposals to outlaw or confiscate guns are simply unrealistic panacea. We are never going to prevent murder; we are never going to eliminate crime; we are never going to end violent action by the criminals and the crazies--with or without guns.

True, guns are a means for committing murder and other crimes. But they are not an essential means. The Los Angeles Slasher of last winter killed nine men without using a gun. People kill and rob with knives and clubs. Yet we have not talked about outlawing them. Poisons are easy to come by for the silent killer.

The automobile is the greatest peacetime killer in history. There is no talk of banning the auto. With the auto we have cracked down on drunken drivers and on careless drivers. We need also to crack down on people who use guns carelessly or with criminal intent.

I believe criminals who use guns in the commission of a crime, or who carry guns, should be given mandatory sentences with no opportunity for parole. That would put the burden where it belongs--on the criminal, not on the law abiding citizen.

Let's not kid ourselves about what the purpose of prison should be It should be to remove criminals from circulation so that they cannot prey upon society. Punishment for deterrent purposes, also plays a part. Rehabilitation, as many experts, including California Attorney General Evelle Younger, have discovered, is not a very good reason for imprisoning people. People don't rehabilitate very well in prison.

There is an old saying that slaves remain slaves while free men set themselves free. It is true with rehabilitation, also. Criminals rehabilitate themselves, there is little you and I can do about it. But back to the purpose of this article which, hopefully, is to make the case against gun control.

The starting point must be the Constitution, because, above all, we are a nation of laws and the foundation for our laws, or lack of same, is the Constitution.

It is amazing to me how so many people pay lip service to the Constitution, yet set out to twist and distort it when it stands in the way of things they think ought to be done or laws they believe ought to be passed. It is also amazing to me how often our courts do the same thing.

The Second Amendment is clear, or ought to be. It appears to leave little, if any, leeway for the gun control advocate. It reads "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

There are those who say that, since we have no militia, the amendment no longer applies; they would just ignore it. Others say nuclear weapons have made the right to keep and bear arms irrelevant, since arms are of little use against weapons of such terrible destructive power. Both arguments are specious.

We may not have a well-regulated militia, but it does not necessarily follow that we should not be prepared to have one. The day could easily come when we need one.

The nuclear weapon argument is even more silly. Many wars have been fought since World War II and no nuclear bomb has been dropped. We have no assurance that the next world war will be a nuclear war. But, regardless of any possible merit they might have, both these arguments beg the question, which is Shall the people have a right to keep and bear arms?

There is little doubt that the founding fathers thought they should have this right, and for a very specific reason They distrusted government. All of the first 10 amendments make that clear. Each of them specifies an area where government cannot impose itself on the individual or where the individual must be protected from government.

The second amendment gives the individual citizen a means of protection against the despotism of the state. Look what it refers to "The security of a free state." The word "free" should be underlined because that is what they are talking about and that is what the Constitution is about--a free nation and a free people, where the rights of the individual are pre-eminent. The founding fathers had seen, as the Declaration of Independence tells us, what a despotic government can do to its own people. Indeed, every American should read the Declaration of Independence before he reads the Constitution, and he will see that the Constitution aims at preventing a recurrence of the way George III's government treated the colonies.

The declaration states this plainly "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government and to provide new Guards for their future security."

There is no question that the first 10 amendments are a part of those "new guards" for their future security. And one of the most basic of those guards is the right to keep and bear arms.

There are those in America today who have come to depend absolutely on government for their security. And when government fails they seek to rectify that failure in the form of granting government more power. So, as government has failed to control crime and violence with the means given it by the Constitution, they seek to give it more power at the expense of the Constitution. But in doing so, in their willingness to give up their arms in the name of safety, they are really giving up their protection from what has always been the chief source of despotism--government.

Lord Acton said power corrupts. Surely then, if this is true, the more power we give the government the more corrupt it will become. And if we give it the power to confiscate our arms we also give up the ultimate means to combat that corrupt power. In doing so we can only assure that we will eventually be totally subject to it. When dictators come to power, the first thing they do is take away the people's weapons. It makes it so much easier for the secret police to operate, it makes it so much easier to force the will of the ruler upon the ruled.

Now I believe our nation's leaders are good and well-meaning people. I do not believe that they have any desire to impose a dictatorship upon us. But this does not mean that such will always be the case. A nation rent internally, as ours has been in recent years, is always ripe for a "man on a white horse." A deterrent to that man, or to any man seeking unlawful power, is the knowledge that those who oppose him are not helpless.

The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed. When the British forgot that they got a revolution. And, as a result, we Americans got a Constitution; a Constitution that, as those who wrote it were determined, would keep men free. If we give up part of that Constitution we give up part of our freedom and increase the chance that we will lose it all.

I am not ready to take that risk. I believe that the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms must not be infringed if liberty in America is to survive.

Tom Brokaw’s Class Warfare Attack on Guns

So Tom Brokaw just appeared on Morning Joe (named after a sex act), to discuss the boost in gun sales since the Arizona shooting.

Brokaw explained this upsurge as a bunch of scared lemmings stockpiling their guns in “underground bunkers” in case new laws arrive to ban them.

He elaborated somewhat…

“In Arizona they have a wide open system. I would be nervous about going into a bar or restaurant in Arizona on a Saturday night where people can carry concealed without permits.”

You would be nervous?

That’s the point, Tom.

You should be nervous. And by “you,” I really mean, generally, any jerk who comes in to start trouble at the bar. That’s the beauty of guns, or the threat of guns – it’s a natural motivator to lighten up, back off, and mind your own beeswax.

And let’s not forget, people bought those guns, to protect themselves. As John Lott Jr., points out, a major factor in determining how many people are harmed by a lunatic killer is the time frame between the start of the attack and when another gun arrives. The quicker it gets there, the faster the crime spree ends.

To me, this debate over gun ownership seems like class warfare. People like Brokaw just don’t know anybody who owns guns. Except of course, the security around him when he visits NBC. He’s safe and sound, spouting his opinions – not like everyone else at campuses and supermarkets.

So, from his perch, he stereotypes gun owners as gun nuts, hunkering in bunkers. It would be the same, if I said all newscasters were egocentric, aloof elitists who can’t pronounce the letter L.

No offense, Tom.

And if you disagree with me you’re a racist homophobe.

The media loves to take us Americans on rabbit trails, trails that lead nowhere. For instance, what are you thinking about today? Obama? whether he is Christian or Muslim, does he take too many vacations? How about the possibility that there may be a Mosque built near Ground Zero? Sure, these are topics worth mulling over and having an opinion on but, in the end where do arguments about these issues get you? Does mulling these hot topics give you more freedom, increase individual freedoms, allow you to keep more of your earnings? No.

I, like many am not immune to getting hot under the collar when stories like these come up. In the mean time the Government is growing at an unprecedented rate, and when the Government grows the people that established it, lose freedom. I do say people but it is the person that I care about the most, the individual. Throughout history when the individual is swallowed into a collective it breeds only failure.

If one looks at what is happening in this country with a clear mind, forgetting all of the stories of the day, one will see that things are being done on your behalf (by a growing centralized Government that circumvents the Constitution at every turn) without your permission or even a thought of what it does to your, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. The "Collective", "Greater Good" or "Social Justice" are terms and ideals that are no where to be found in the Constitution, and there is a reason they are not.

I try to keep things as simple as possible. If a policy or agenda does not increase my freedom as an individual, I oppose it. There are no gray areas, no anecdotal stories, no emotional arguments. Less freedom for me? I disagree, period.

When our Representatives are taking the property of one group of citizens to subsidize another group, this not only creates Class Warfare, it is in Direct Opposition to the Constitution and the vision the Founding Father's had for this Country. As a matter of fact, (a term liberals shy away from like a Vampire to light) that is the very reason the United States of America was formed.

So keep it simple. If your rights and freedoms as an INDIVIDUAL are not increased by the policies that are being crammed down your throat, Oppose Them.

I have no grave site to visit, no place to bring my mother her favorite yellow flowers, no spot where I can hold my weary heart close to her. All I have is Ground Zero.

On the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, I watched as terrorists slammed United Flight 175 into the South Tower of the World Trade Center, 18 minutes after their accomplices on another hijacked plane hit the North Tower. My mother was on the flight. I witnessed her murder on live television. I still cannot fully comprehend those images. In that moment, I died as well. I carry a hole in my heart that will never be filled.

From the first memorial ceremonies I attended at Ground Zero, I have always been moved by the site; it means something to be close to where my mother may be buried, it brings some peace. That is why the prospect of a mosque near Ground Zero -- or a church or a synagogue or any religious or nationalistic monument or symbol -- troubles me.

I was born in pre-revolutionary Iran. My family led a largely secular existence -- I did not attend a religious school, I never wore a headscarf -- but for us, as for anyone there, Islam was part of our heritage, our culture, our entire lives. Though I have nothing but contempt for the fanaticism that propelled the terrorists to carry out their murderous attacks on Sept. 11, I still have great respect for the faith. Yet, I worry that the construction of the Cordoba House Islamic cultural center near the World Trade Center site would not promote tolerance or understanding; I fear it would become a symbol of victory for militant Muslims around the world.

When I am asked about the people who murdered my mother, I try to hold back my anger. I try to have a more spiritual perspective. I tell myself that perhaps what happened was meant to happen -- that it was my mother's destiny to perish this way. I try to take solace in the notion that her death has forced a much-needed conversation and reevaluation of the role of religion in the Muslim community, of the duties and obligations that the faith imposes and of its impact on the non-Muslim world.

But a mosque near Ground Zero will not move this conversation forward. There were many mosques in the United States before Sept. 11; their mere existence did not bring cross-cultural understanding. The proposed center in New York may be heralded as a peace offering -- may genuinely seek to focus on "promoting integration, tolerance of difference and community cohesion through arts and culture," as its Web site declares -- but I fear that over time, it will cultivate a fundamentalist version of the Muslim faith, embracing those who share such beliefs and hating those who do not.

The Sept. 11 attacks were the product of a hateful ideology that the perpetrators were willing to die for. They believed that all non-Muslims are infidels and that the duty of Muslims is to renounce them. I am not a theologian, but I know that the men who killed my mother carried this message in their hearts and minds. Obedient and dutiful soldiers, they marched toward their promised rewards in heaven with utter disregard for the value of the human beings they killed.

I know Ground Zero is not mine alone; I must share this sanctuary with tourists, politicians, anyone who chooses to come, whatever their motivations or intentions. But a mosque nearby -- even a proposed one -- is already transforming the site from a sacred ground for reflection, so desperately needed by the families who lost loved ones, to a battleground for religious and political ideologies. So many people from different nationalities and religions were killed that day. This site should be a neutral place for all to come in peace and remember. I believe my mother would have thought so as well.

The Iranian revolution compelled my family to flee to America when I was 12 years old. Yet, just over two decades later, the militant version of our faith caught up with us on a September morning. I still identify as a Muslim. When you are born into a Muslim family, there is no way around it, no choices available: You are Muslim. I am not ashamed of my faith, but I am ashamed of what is done in its name.

On the day I left Ground Zero shortly after the tragedy, I felt that I was abandoning my mother. It was like being forced to leave the bedside of a loved one who is dying, knowing you will never see her again. But I felt the love and respect of all those around me there, and it reassured me that she was being left in good hands. Since I cannot visit New York as often as I would like, I at least want to know that my mother can rest in peace.

I do not like harboring resentment or anger, but I do not want the death of my mother -- my best friend, my hero, my strength, my love -- to become even more politicized than it already is. To the supporters of this new Islamic cultural center, I must ask: Build your ideological monument somewhere else, far from my mother's grave, and let her rest.

Fed to Sue AZ over Illegal Immigration Law

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Thursday she's angry over comments by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that the Obama administration will sue the state over its new immigration law.

In a June 8 media interview in Ecuador that began circulating Thursday in the U.S., Clinton said President Barack Obama thinks the federal government should determine immigration policy and that the Justice Department "will be bringing a lawsuit against the act."

And the KICKER! "It's unclear why Clinton made the comment since it's not her area. She couldn't be reached Thursday for comment."

To top it off he then gets standing ovations from the Scumbag Democrats while he blames America for gun violence in Mexico due to our 2nd Amendment, then pointing out that we are a bunch of Drug Addicts and the reason for the abundance of drugs coming from Mexico.

If you are surprised that this Administration would attack inward and allow the leader of a country that is essentially invading us, to verbally assult and degrade us, you need to get your head out of the sand. This is par for the course with this naive, unqualified administration and it will get worse, mark my words.

Insult to Injury.

For many years I chose to buy German cars(ever since Chrysler Abused me after buying my first new car from them when I was 19). I loved them, great quality, great price and even better re-sale value. As a patriotic American I said to myself; "It has been a few years since my last American car purchase". So I proceeded to buy a 2006 GM product.

Overall I am happy with it although I went into it knowing that the resale value would be a fraction of what I would get if I had bought a German car. Even though I knew this I went ahead and tried to help out the good ole Union ruined American car manufacturer.

Then the Government decided to take over GM and loan it gazillions of dollars to keep it afloat, not because it was in real unforeseen trouble, but because it was and still is a horribly managed and Union dominated company that puts out inferior products, and we love to reward failure, right?

So now, not only do I pay monthly payments on my Government Motors car, I also pay massive amounts of taxes and GM gets that as well. Yes it hurts and I may just be selling my GM product and my next move may be a Ford. I am hoping that is not another mistake.

I look around at the great people in South America and see the pain and poverty imposed on them by the leadership and to make it even worse they are following the lead of the tyrannous leader, Hugo Chavez and imposing Socialist laws, taxes and ideals.

The people can see that they have less and less freedom as the days pass, but in third world countries they have no time to organize and protest, they are too busy scrapping together their very subsistence most hours of the day. The leadership know and count on this to hold power.

The new Socialistic leadership is bringing the horribly poverty stricken up one level while erasing any and all upward mobility of the "middle class" in the country, forcing everyone but the very rich to be equally miserable.

Needless to say I could not wait to get out of this country and I have a feeling as the years pass, there will be thousands upon thousands trying to do the same.

It is not arrogant to brag on our country, it is light years ahead of third world countries and I do not feel one ounce of guilt for that. The reason we are ahead is due to individual freedom, a free market system and a need and a drive for a high standard of living. "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness".

I do feel anger towards those that are "leading" our country. Right at this moment they are implementing the same socialistic society here. The difference is that America and Americans have much, much further to fall when Socialism takes hold. I pray that we can turn back what it happening in our country.

Living in California I see cities turning into small third world countries, due to massive illegal immigration and the abuse of social entitlement programs. This must stop or we will suffer the same fate of third world countries. I for one am not satisfied with being equally miserable in the name of social justice, are you?

Why not? since when does a fiscal crisis cause the liberal democrats to stop spending or raise rates, fees or taxes?

More of the money you earned that you can't keep, all in the name of "Green" the new zealot religion that many in California have whole heatedly been baptised in. I question whether Villaraigosa is a TRUE convert to the Green religion. I suspect he is using the green agenda for his own gain as opposed to really wanting the city to be green. And in the meantime more people and more businesses will leave the city and then who will pay these higher rates and higher taxes, illegal immigrants? I am sure you can assume his stance on that.

Gun Rights Advocates Target California Detective Following Facebook Posts

Gun rights advocates have a California police detective in their crosshairs after he apparently posted comments on Facebook advocating that "open carry" supporters should be shot.

East Palo Alto Police Det. Rod Tuason apparently posted the remarks on his Facebook page in response to a friend's status update, which suggested that gun advocates who carry unloaded weapons openly — which is legal in California — should do so in places like "Oakland, Richmond and East Palo Alto" and not just in "hoity toity" cities.

"Haha we had one guy last week try to do it!" Tuason replied. "He got proned out [laid face-down on the ground] and reminded where he was at and that turds will jack him for his gun in a heartbeat!"

Several comments later, the detective suggested shooting the gun rights advocates, some of whom have carried firearms openly in recent weeks in California's Bay Area, particularly at Starbucks locations.

"Sounds like you had someone practicing their 2nd amendment rights last night!" Tuason wrote. "Should've pulled the AR out and prone them all out! And if one of them makes a furtive movement … 2 weeks off!!!" -- referring to the modified duty, commonly known as desk duty, that typically follows any instance in which an officer is investigated for firing his weapon.

Those comments caught the attention of a California attorney and blogger, as well as a Virginia man who started a Facebook group calling for Tuason's termination.

John Taylor, whose Facebook group had 54 members as of midday Friday, said the Facebook thread confirmed gun owners' worst fears.

"Any sworn officer who suggests shooting law-abiding citizens for exercising their most basic constitutional rights deserves the full wrath of America's gun owners," Taylor told FoxNews.com. "It's an affront."

California's Penal Code makes it illegal to carry concealed weapons without a county-issued license. But it is legal to carry an unloaded weapon in plain view in a holster. In most cases, it is illegal for an unconcealed weapon to be loaded.

Taylor, of Arlington, Va., who has a concealed weapons permit in his home state, said he planned to write a letter to the East Palo Alto Police Department demanding that Tuason be fired.

"The targeting, harassment and intimidation of law-abiding citizens who are peacefully agitating for their rights by a police officer is an abomination to the Constitution, and is in fact the exact reason our Founding Fathers created the Second Amendment," Taylor said. "Police officers who think they are going to get between law-abiding Americans and their Second Amendment rights are going to find themselves in the line of fire."

Tuason's comments were first noticed by California attorney Kevin Thomason, who posted a screen grab of the detective's remarks on his Web site on Sunday.

"[Tuason] didn't realize that actual PRO-GUN people also read Facebook," Thomason wrote. "Amazingly, he posted the following comment about law abiding gun owners on a friend's page. Basically, he's saying 'prone them out' (face down on the ground), and if anyone moves, kill them. I don't make this crap up."

Thomason, a member of the National Rifle Association, wrote that Tuason's comments were "worth a call" to the East Palo Alto City Council, as well as to his superior officers.

Tuason, who has since removed his Facebook profile, did not return messages seeking comment on Friday. He is reportedly being investigated by the police department's professional standards division regarding the Facebook remarks.

East Palo Alto Police Sgt. Rod Norris said he was unable to comment on the matter, but Capt. Carl Estelle told the San Jose Mercury News that police officials must be careful not to violate Tuason's First Amendment rights, since the comments appeared on his personal Web site.

"In no way are his personal comments reflective of any policies or procedures here at the department nor does he speak for the police department," Estelle told the newspaper.

Comment: Not all Law enforcement have this attitude towards people that stand up for Self Protection and their Second Amendment Right, but there are many that would jump at the chance to disarm the public, especially those that have political aspirations. Do not be naive or fooled.

A positive review will not be found because, From Paris does not contain some rouge US agent fighting against the corrupt, all white "boys club" of the CIA or FBI, or a mentally deranged American soldier or soldiers fighting against an evil US Corporation, corrupt Republican politician or peace loving blue tree huggers. So this movie will continue to be panned.

The main character "Wax", played by John Travolta, deals with Arab, and Pakistani Terrorists as they should be, short and to the point, meaning point and shoot, terrorist dead. No bureaucrat red tape, no Miranda rights, no water boarding, no Guantanamo, just see threat, eliminate threat! With some flash of course.

And who would have thought the story would be written by a Frenchman, Luc Besson. Perhaps the French are sick of what the political correctness has gotten for them in allowing the huge influx of militant jihadists into thier country.

The United States government has filed a Motion to Dismiss the lawsuit filed by the Montana Shooting Sports Association and the Second Amendment Foundation. The suit was filed the support the Montana Firearms Freedom Act which declares that any firearms made and retained in-state are beyond the authority of Congress under its constitutional power to regulate commerce among the states.

The argument is that the Federal government has overstepped its authority in attempting to regulate and tax firearms that never cross a state border. The Feds counter that it is a valid exercise of commerse power because even sales of firearms that don't cross state lines have an effect on interstate commerce.

On October 16, 2009, Representatives Seth Morgan(R) and Jarrod Martin(R) introduced House Bill 315, Ohio's own version of the Firearms Freedom Act which reads:

Ted Nugent has a lot on his mind. During a recent interview, the Motor City Madman said he hates Pam Anderson the most, respects “welfare brats” the least and thinks President Obama should be jailed.

And what he wants to do to Bill Maher sounds like it’s straight out of the script for the next “Saw” sequel.

Nugent also mentioned why he moved from his native Michigan to Texas, describing his current stomping grounds as a place “where they don’t rape and pillage my paycheck. And where I can keep a machine gun in the front seat of my vehicle.”

But that’s just one of many comments Nuge made during an interview with Royal Flush Magazine that’s sure to tick off liberals and endear him even more in the hearts of conservatives.

Why does he hate Pam Anderson? Evidently it’s all about the venison.

“My name is Ted Nugent and because of Pam Anderson and because of Bill Maher and because of Paul McCartney, all the members of PETA, whenever I hear the word ‘animal’ or ‘rights’ in the same paragraph, I’m killing an extra hundred of something this year,” the guitar slinger told Royal Flush.

“I have unlimited deer tags in Michigan and Texas, and I don’t even need to kill them really, but I’m going to for Bill Maher. I’m not just killing them I’m f**king slaughtering them and I’m going to gut them and skin them, quarter them and butcher them and feed them to the soup kitchen and homeless shelters of America. Not because I need to, because it will cause Bill Maher to sh*t blood. That’s my goal in life.”

Speaking of the host of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Nugent also had some decorating tips.

“I’m gonna take off one of my Deep Vibram sole boots and I’m gonna take out my knife and I’m gonna scrape the remains of dead vermin onto his desk and he can find out where his rights start,” Nugent said. “It’s funnier than Richard Pryor on fire. I’m stymied to come up with anything funnier than people who think animals have rights. Just stick an arrow through their lungs.”

When asked who he respects the least, Nugent answered with, “Pimps, whores and welfare brats are not legitimate job descriptions. Welfare isn’t supposed to be used for hairdos. If you need food stamps, eat the f**king pet.”

But the quote that’s getting media attention is how he responded to the question, “What do you think of Obama?” To which Nugent answered:

“I think that Barack Hussein Obama should be put in jail. It is clear that Barack Hussein Obama is a communist. Mao Tse Tung lives and his name is Barack Hussein Obama. This country should be ashamed. I wanna throw up.”

Nugent also had a few words for Jann Wenner, saying the Rolling Stone founder should die because the magazine wouldn’t do a story on his 2009 tour. According to Nugent, the lack of coverage was because the guitarist is on the board of the National Rifle Association.

Why are So Many Americans Willing to allow the Federal Government to make their decisions For Them? At what point in life did they Choose to give up Individual Liberty? And without even a fight, they just hand it over!

Growing up I remember people being Pissed about Seat Belt and Helmet laws. Now they are so used to having their freedoms infringed upon, they don't even notice or are too lazy to care. Come On America!

Where are the Rugged Individuals that held Individual Freedom and Responsibility close to their heart? You are out there, you just need to brush of the years of Liberal dust that has burdened you into non-action.

NRA SPONSORS LEGISLATION TO REPEAL AB962!

Earlier this year, Assemblyman Curt Hagman introduced Assembly Bill 373 related to the sales of handguns. AB373 was sponsored by the National Rifle Association in order to streamline the ability for law-abiding Californians to purchase handguns.

Now that Governor Schwarzenegger has signed AB962 into law, people are already becoming aware of the damage that it will do to California and it's citizens. Therefore, the NRA and Assemblyman Hagman have agreed to amend AB373 into legislation that would repeal AB962. The newly amended AB373 will be heard in the State Legislature in January of 2010 so we must be ready for these hearings.

All of California's firearms owners, dealers, shooters, hunters, collectors, clubs/organizations, and ammunition vendors, should be prepared to join in this effort to repeal AB962. This will not be an easy fight, but it is possible to win if we all stick together and act in an organized manner.

We, the NRA, will have specific activities that everyone can participate in during this important effort. Please stand-by and be prepared to help. There is no good reason not to be part of the team.

The great pay-back has begun, and it's going to be ugly.

The gun grabbers in Congress are paying back the anti-gun extremists who put them and Barack Obama in office.

Hi, this is Congressman Paul Broun from Georgia. I wish I had better news, but you and I are facing an assault on our gun rights like we’ve never seen before.

You see, H.R. 45 is Barack Obama’s gun control package, and it includes the most vile anti-gun measures he’s supported over the years.

It's only the first step...

...but it's a HUGE step.

H.R. 45 establishes a NATIONAL gun registry database of every gun and its owner -- for the whole county! Your private information and every gun you own would be in the system.

But that’s only if you succeed in buying a gun in the first place!

And since H.R. 45 dramatically increases requirements for firearms purchases far beyond those ever proposed, you just might find youself incapable of buying a firearm once this bill takes effect.

And it gets worse too.

The National Association for Gun Rights has a survey ready for you to complete, but I want you to understand just how dangerous this bill is before I give you the link. Please bear with me for a moment.

You see, H.R. 45 would establish a national gun registry database which would:

Increase requirements for firearms purchases, far beyond those ever proposed.

Create a national firearms registry overseen by the Federal Government.

Invoke Draconian penalties for bookkeeping errors related to the Federal Firearms Database.
It gets worse though.

Sarah Brady and her allies in Congress want to force you to take a written exam to prove that you are "fit" to exercise your Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.

I'm outraged by this, and I know you are too.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you that gun registration has historically laid the groundwork for total firearm confiscation. Citizen disarmament is the watchword of tyrants everywhere.

In fact, the most brutal dictators of the last century were famous for their gun registration and confiscation schemes.

But H.R. 45, Obama's National Gun Registry and Citizen Disarmament Act, is more than just a forced registration of all firearms in America.

The bill also makes it increasingly difficult to buy a gun in the first place.

Taken right out of Sarah Brady's Christmas wish list, H.R. 45 includes a laundry list of new restrictions on firearms purchases.

In addition to the outrageous national gun registration requirement, H.R. 45 also requires you to:

Pass a written examination to purchase a firearm.

Release your medical records -- including confidential mental health records -- to the government to get your "fitness" to own a firearm approved.

Observe a two-day waiting period before all firearms purchases.

Pay a gun tax of $25 or more on all firearm purchases.
Moreover, H.R. 45 bans all private firearms sales and maximizes penalties for minor clerical errors in dealing with the national gun registry.

The list goes on and on. It's enough to turn your stomach.

I know I don't have to tell you, but these restrictions make a mockery of the Constitution. "The Right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" might as well say: "You have no rights."

If a two-day waiting period, a written exam and a gun tax aren't infringing our rights, I don't know what is!

Even the Supreme Court’s recent Heller decision guaranteeing an individual’s right to own a firearm doesn’t hamper Barack Obama’s agenda one bit.

In fact, it emboldens gun grabbers to pass legislation taxing ammunition, increasing registration requirements, and drastically limiting when, how and where you can use your firearm.

That’s why I’ve decided to stand with the National Association for Gun Rights fight back against this radical scheme. They're fully committed to stopping the efforts of the gun grabbers, but they need the help of grassroots gun owners like you.

With liberals calling the shots in Washington, all supporters of the Second Amendment must join together, draw a line in the sand, and fight this battle to the end.

We must make this gun-grab expensive and politically painful for the enemies of freedom. If we do, they'll flinch ... and LOSE.

At first glance, I wanted to see this movie, but when a celebutard or some director that thinks they know more than us Peons (taking cues from Obama), goes out of the way to insult a huge portion of a potential paying audience I will not be part of that or give my money to these people.

Truth be told, I had very low hopes that this movie would be even entertaining. After all Hollywood has put out a string of big budget blowout movies that essentially SUCK AIR.

Sure they make the millions the first weekend but the films are empty shells that mean nothing and do nothing and in the long run will be long forgotten. I have a very strong feeling that GI JOE will fall right in line with all the rest of the muddy mediocre garbage that has been coming out of Hollywood, with the exception of Star Trek.

I can almost guarantee that this movie is laced with political underpinnings and one world, global community BullS**t.
